Earth West 20,000 Plus Change is a world located in the Ice Belt, approxomately 20,000 steps West of the Datum.[1]
The Long Earth[]
Joshua Valienté and Lobsang stopped at this world in the Mark Twain, during The Journey. The sky was overcast and so, without the sunlight, the rolling grassland below them was dull grey-green, with scattered clumps of darker forest.[1]
By the shore of a lake below them were creatures like rhinos with slender legs, as well as other species. To the north they observed a huge herd of animals.[1]
They released probes that would gather information. This data would be downloaded when they returned through this world, or when another twain passed it in the future.[1]
